MISSION STATEMENT

The Potomac Art Therapy Association (PATA), an affiliate chapter of the American Art Therapy Association (AATA), is a professional organization dedicated to the use of ART AS A HEALING AND LIFE-ENHANCING PROCESS. PATA's mission is to serve its members and the general public by promoting the ADVANCEMENT and AWARENESS of the art therapy field in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
